For those of you who do not know, I will be traveling to Australia this February to attend YWAM Gold Coast's Discipleship Training School (DTS). The DTS is a six month commitment that trains students for the mission field. It is designed to encourage spiritual development through lectures, personal mentoring, and other valuable teachings, as well as through the experience of living in community with other believers. After three months of the "lecture phase", another three months is spent on outreach. YWAM Gold Coast usually travels to Indonesia or Papua New Guinea. I am currently raising support for this exciting opportunity. The cost of the DTS is approximately $8,000.00 which I must raise by February 9, 2010. This amount includes tuition, housing, food, and airfare to outreach locations- everything I need for six months.
